KNIGHTDALE -- Motorists roving on I-540 East nearby Knightdale should be heedful since a territory of the main road is not complete.

On Friday, a Raleigh man gathering his car off the main road before long after midnight nearby the intersection with U.S. 264, the towns military arch reported.

Emergency workers took the motorist, Clavin Jackson, 48, to WakeMed in Raleigh where he is listed in vicious condition, Knightdale Police Chief Shawn Brown said.

Police reported that Jackson gathering his car off the destiny I-540 extension, causing the car to decrease down a 120-foot dike in to the woods.

The car rolled over, and Jackson was ejected. When the car stopped, it landed atop Jackson and pinned him, Brown said.
